mibr and EGEES advance to playoffs

Just four matches ended the first day of the Global Challenge in Montreal. Ready for the playoffs are Made in Brazil, North Stars United and two times Evil Geniuses.

After team j1n and CheckSix dropping their attendance, group A was cut down to only one match, Evil Geniuses and North Stars United determining who would advance to the playoffs with high seed. Evil Geniuses finished off the Canadians off without much sweat. Runners up from Los Angeles, Made in Brazil, had two matches ahead of them, in their group featuring Dynamo and Evil Geniuses from Canada. Neither of the teams could put anything up against Made in Brazil and the Brazilians walked through their group. Evil Geniuses finished off Dynamo, securing them a spot in the playoffs.

Day two will start at 17:00 CET with SK Gaming entering the tournament when they face Swat Gaming from Canada. Also fnatic will be in action, but only one match, determining which of fnatic or Gravitas Gaming (former x3o) will advance to the playoffs as high seed.
